Calypso is a beautifully presented example of the iconic Riviera 48 and is one of the very few built with a fully enclosed flybridge. Designed and constructed by Riviera on the Gold Coast, this model is highly regarded for its impressive seakeeping, spacious layout and timeless styling. She has been well maintained by her current owners and presents in excellent condition throughout.

Powered by twin 435hp Caterpillar 3208 diesel engines, Calypso cruises comfortably at 18 to 20 knots and reaches a top speed of approximately 24 knots. Her engines were last serviced in March 2025 and show approximately 2,055 hours. Manoeuvring is made easy with the assistance of a Craftsman bow thruster, and she is equipped with comprehensive Raymarine navigation electronics including GPS/plotter, autopilot with rudder indicator, depth sounder, VHF radio and digital radar.

The enclosed and newly air conditioned flybridge is accessed via an internal staircase from the saloon and features a forward helm station with excellent visibility, plush guest seating and a rear door that opens to the flybridge deck. An additional aft helm station is fitted, which is ideal for docking, fishing or handling the vessel short handed.

Accommodation is generous, offering three cabins with sleeping for six, two Sealand Vacuflush toilets, hot and cold showers, and reverse cycle air conditioning throughout. The saloon features large forward windows, creating a bright and open feel, and the galley is well appointed with a Vitrifrigo fridge/freezer, Panasonic convection microwave, electric cooktop and U-Line icemaker.

Her cockpit is spacious and practical, with a top loading fridge/freezer, stainless steel Cookout BBQ and easy access to the swim platform. A full set of covers including windows and rear cockpit (both screen and solid) are less than 12 months old. A 2015 Brig Eagle 340H tender with a 40hp Honda outboard is mounted on the foredeck via a Davco davit.
